Good for you, buti kapa natandaan mo yung 4 na sikat. Si Arnold Gamboa balita ko ay naging manager sa isang 5-star hotel diyan sa Makati. Bakit ko ba nakalimutan si Winnie Santos at Eddie Boy Villamayor (w/ their famous sisters Ate Vi and Guy)

special mention pala ako sa entry na to (although 90% of the content was copied from my blog of the 70's)hehehe. Anyway dude, if you are 50 right now, 1958 ang year of birth mo, so that means during the early seventies you are around 12-14 years old back then, dapat high school ka na noon (not elementary as you mentioned here) hehehe. unless matanda ka na pumasok ng grade 1 hehehe. keep it real dude. ciao!

to Sidewinder,
Hindi naman I entered grade 1 at age 7, in 1965, siguro nga I was around 12 to 14 years old in 1970 patigil-tigil ako dahil we always tranfered from one place to another (eh wala naman kaming sariling bahay) That was real dude, wala naman pwedeng mag-claimed na siya ang may-ari ng dekadang ito.

ipinanganak ako nung P1.50 pa lang ang Love Bus fare so medyo 80's at 90's na ang nakalakhan ko hehehe.

By the way, I forgot to mention--there is this corner store in Teachers Village in QC, across MiniStop which sells long playing records (yes, the old singles and albums) in their original form. It is a very popular store, where a lot of people go for their collector's items. The name is something like "Yesteryears"

cheers,

Dine Racoma

does anyone remember that burger place inside Harrison Plaza before it burned down? Just cant recall the name but I remember it had "king" in it but I doubt it was burger king. the place was an island in the middle of a hallway with stools surrouding the counter. people waiting for a seat will breathe down your neck while you try to eat. I remember the burgers thee were not bad at all or maybe there just wasnt any comparison at the time... it was before McD and JolliB and even before Big 20
