CURTAIN RODS

She spent the first day packing her belongings into
boxes, crates and suitcases.

On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.

On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their beautiful dining room table by candle-light, put on some soft background music, and feasted on a pound of shrimp, a jar of caviar, and a bottle of spring-water. When she had finished, she went into each and every room and deposited a few half-eaten shrimp shells dipped in caviar into the hollow of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

When the husband returned with his new girlfriend, all was bliss for the first few days. Then slowly, the house began to smell. They tried everything; cleaning, mopping and airing the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents and carpets were steam cleaned. Air fresheners were hung everywhere. Exterminators were brought in to set off gas canisters, during which they had to move out for a few days and in the end they even paid to replace the expensive wool carpeting. Nothing worked. People stopped coming over to visit. Repairmen refused to work in the house. The maid quit. Finally, they could not take the stench any longer and decided to move.

A month later, even though they had cut their price in half, they could not find a buyer for their stinky house. Word got out and eventually even the local realtors refused to return their calls. Finally, they had to borrow a huge sum of money from the bank to purchase a new place.
The ex-wife called the man and asked how things were going. He told her the saga of the rotting house. She listened politely and said that she missed her old home terribly and would be willing to reduce her divorce settlement in exchange for getting the house back.
Knowing his ex-wife had no idea how bad the smell was, he agreed on a price that was about 1/10th of what the house had been worth, but only if she were to sign the papers that very day. She agreed and within the hour his lawyers delivered the paperwork.

A week later the man and his girlfriend stood smiling as they watched the moving company pack everything to take to their new home.........And to spite the ex-wife, they even took the curtain rods!!!!!! I LOVE A HAPPY ENDING, DON'T YOU?

NEW BLOG NAME FOR A NEW YEAR

I finally change my blog name from IMPOSTOR to Y. Maybe I'm tired of being an impostor and I need a little make over for my blog site. Why Y? for the simple reason that it start with name Ysrael and maybe it could answer all the Y's in this world.

BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME...

On February 14, 2009 my wife and I will celebrate our marriage vows and it was exactly 14 years when we promised each other the classic line's " till death do us part." Since then my wife always ask me the same question she asked 13 years ago " Why did I love her? and I always answered " Because you love me."

But we are not the issue here, yesterday I watch the Oprah show and it's features a young pinay singer named Charice. Oprah staff documented Charice trip to Madison Square in New York to meet her Idol Celine Dion and the rest is history. When I watch the video footage of Celine and Charice duet the song "Because You Love Me" the audience went wild, everybody was standing as they watching and hearing the two rendered that classic song. The sight was so moving that it gives me a thousand goosebumps. Maybe I was too proud of Charice because of her triumph and the fact that she is a Pinay who give us a pride as a Filipino. And Celine was so humble quite a diva. Check this out!

LOVE IS BLIND

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her, 'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him. Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift

Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who died too early on this earth.

Before you complain about your children - Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.

Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep - Think of the people who are living in the streets.

Before whining about the distance you drive. Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job

Isn't it too beautiful not to share?

LATE ENDER

I really don't know if the term "Late ender" is existed or not. The truth is I intent to post a year-ender blog but laziness kill my motivation (too bad for a new year ha!) but I'm not lazy actually I was too occupied with many things that blogging becomes the less priorities. Pardon me but I have to looked back and reviewed what happened to me last year. Obviously I committed more mistakes, blunders, than a good decision. (Luckily no one thrown a pair of shoes at me) Now this year I have to regroup, plans, and more focus.
39 posted blog and 15 drafts not bad for a rookie bloggers ( I maintain 2 other blogs in 2 different blog site, 1 photo/video blog, and 1 scrabble blog)
And the best thing is I have some on-line friends and commenters who support you all the way even I don't meet them personally.

KUMUKUTIKUTITAP...

It's better to give that to receive ika nga, daming plastik no?

WHERE AM I?

I really don't know what happened to me, over a month ago that I didn't post anything. It's not because I have nothing to post, I think I've just experienced some feeling or attitude that beyond my control. I really don't know how to describe it " yun bang parang tinatamad ka sa lahat ng bagay, wala ka naman problema just don't have the motivation, ewan ko sana maintindihan ninyo ang hindi ko ma-explain na explanation sa isang unexplainable situation like this.
Right now I was busy reviewing all my word stocks for the coming national Scrabble Tournament in Greenhouse Grill, In Quezon City on Nov. 29-30, 2008.
If you are an Scrabble addict like me, you will also believe that the next best thing to sex is playing ..SCRABBLE!!
